WHAT'S ALARMING
The ice sheets of Antarctica have been melting at a rate which has tripled since 2007, resulting in a contribution to sea level rise which has tripled since 2012. At this rate, Antarctica alone will cause a six-inch rise to global sea level by the end of this century.
