“The 90% Clean case assumes implementation of policies that promote large-scale renewable energy adoption and yield net societal benefits compared with the business-as-usual approach assumed under the No New Policy case. As detailed in [Sections 3.3 and 3.6 of the report], the nominal electricity cost increases under the 90% Clean case are more than offset by the societal benefits provided by that case.”*
