ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHITI ART WAS FEATURED AT THE ADLER PLANETARIUM’S FOURTH ANNUAL EARTHFEST, SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 2019. THE ADLER IS ONE OF THE TOP MUSEUMS IN CHICAGO AND WAS THE COUNTRY’S FIRST PLANETARIUM.
AASHE AUCTION
The art was featured at the October, 2017 annual conference of AASHE (The Association for the Advance of Sustainability in Higher Education). Universities and colleges were invited to bid to receive artwork based on the amount of exposure the pieces would receive on the school's campus. Over 50 bids were submitted for 20 pieces. (Due to the volume of bids the number of pieces available was increased to 26.) See the list of colleges and universities receiving art for prominent display on their campuses.
A solo exhibit of the art was on display at the Brushwood Gallery at the Ryerson Woods Nature Center in Riverwoods, IL from June 11 through July 31, 2017.
The art was featured at Go Green Wilmette's Annual Fair at Michigan Shores Club on March 12, 2017.
Environmental Graphiti was featured at COP 22 - The Marrakech Climate Change Conference sponsored by the United Nations in November, 2016. The video, "The Alarming Art of Climate Change", was included in a presentation by the Plymouth Marine Laboratory of the UK.
A solo exhibition was on display at Studio Oh! in the Chicago Arts District of Chicago, Pilsen area from Nov 10 - Dec 30, 2016.
The Art Was Featured At The Chicago Climate Festival, during October, 2016. The art was displayed on the Lincoln Park Campus of DePaul University, and on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at The Peggy Notebart Museum. The art was also used as the basis of the official festival poster.
The art was featured at the Joint Statistical Meetings, the largest gathering of statisticians in North America, held at Chicago's McCormick Place July 30 – Aug 4, 2016, as part of an exhibit of art derived from or inspired by data.
Environmental Graphiti art was featured at the Evanston Green Ball, sponsored by the Evanston Environmental Association and the City of Evanston. The festive event took place on Friday, May 13th 2016 at the Levy Center in Evanston, IL.
Environmental Graphiti Art Selected for iTunes Exclusive Release. Alisa Singer, in collaboration with graphic designer Devon Feldmeth, created the artwork for the cover to the song Love Song to the Earth based on one of the paintings from the Environmental Graphiti series, The Alarming Art of Climate Change. Love Song to the Earth features artists including Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Colbie Caillat, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Sean Paul, and many others. A Presentation in December, 2014, of The Alarming Art of Climate Change to Chicago Public school science teachers as part of a teacher development program on Climate Change curricula at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, Center for the Advancement of Science Education.
Presentation of art and science to 7th grade Chicago Public School students at the Goethe School. Students engaged with art digitally displayed in an iPad interactive discovery game.
